Aloha
Tammy Tavares is the artist and owner of Hawaii Custom Treasures. Born and raised
on the island of Maui, she grew up well immersed in her Hawaiian culture–through
music and hula but also through the day-to-day customs taught in her home and family.
As a native Hawaiian she is inspired by her strong cultural heritage and the beautiful
landscape provided by her island home.
Along with her cultural upbringing, Tammy also discovered a love for art in her youth. As
this love grew she discovered a new way of expressing the beauty of her culture and
people. This is reflected in her amazing one-of-a-kind creations and treasures.
